Import Attributes

ATTRIBUTES

Magento uses attributes to manage the information associated with products, customers, and product ratings. Attributes are pieces of information that might appear as fields. Some attributes are built into the system, and others can be created to address specific needs.

ATTRIBUTE SET

In the product creation process, an initial and fundamental step involves selecting the attribute set, acting as a blueprint for the product record. This template sets the structure for the product and dictates the available fields during data entry, as well as the values visible to the customer. The attributes are categorized into groups, strategically determining their placement within the product record.

Import Attribute group, Attribute Set and Attribute options and values By performing this operation.

 

Attribute set

All Attribute Set data will list under the Magento > Products > Attribute Sets.

 

Attribute options and values

All Attribute options and Attribute option values data will list under the Magento > Products > Product Attributes.

 

Attribute Value listed under the respective Attributes.

 

NOTE

Import of attributes is necessary in case you want to export product from odoo to Magento Store. If you had not imported attributes then, you won’t be able to export product.
