Inbound shipment plan


An Inbound shipment plan is a virtual collection of products that you want to send to Amazon fulfilment centre (FBA Warehouse).


Create Inbound Shipment Plan

Inbound shipment can be created in two ways:

1. From Amazon ↣ Operations



2. By Navigating to Amazon ↣ FBA ↣ Inbound ↣ Inbound Shipment Plan

The first step in creating a shipping plan is to choose the products from your inventory that you want to ship to Amazon. So in the shipment plan, you can select the products you want to send to Amazon, including the quantity of each product. Here it is important for you to remember that a single shipping plan may be broken into multiple shipments based on fulfilment centres.


Field description:

  • Instance/Marketplace: You can select the marketplace for sends the inventory for the FBA stock.

  • Warehouse: Select merchant warehouse manually. Goods will be delivered from the merchant warehouse to Amazon warehouse.

  • Company: The company will be automatically set based on the selected marketplace.

  • Box Information Known: Indicates whether the seller knows the box packing information for the inbound shipment process.Enable or disable box information known based on type.

  • Source Address: Specific detail about address to identify the place where you want your inbound shipment to be sent.

  • Label Owner: Specifies who will label the items. Options include below.

    • AMAZON: Amazon provides the information.

    • SELLER: Seller provides the information.

    • NONE: No owner is required for the labelling.

  • Prep Owner: The owner of the preparations, if special preparations are required.

    • AMAZON: Amazon provides the information.

    • SELLER: Seller provides the information.

    • NONE: No owner is required for the preparations.

  • Is LTL Shipment: Indicates whether the inbound shipment plan is of the LTL (Less Than Truckload) type. Enabled or Disabled them based on your shipment type.


Import Product via CSV file


If you have multiple products then you can import it using the XLSX file. You need to click on Import Product(XLSX). To upload the (XLSX) file, you need to provide a specific format. You can refer to the format by downloading the sample file.

You will need to mention 4 fields:

  • seller_sku
  • quantity
  • label_owner
  • prep_owner
