Amazon Stock Adjustments
Configurations for Stock Adjustment Reason:
In many cases, the stock in Amazon Fulfilment Center faces some problems and it cannot be used further until it is replaced. Amazon prepares reports for those on FBA inventory adjustments and updates the latest usable stock in it. So, based on this, you can carry out stock movements accordingly in Odoo. You can navigate to Amazon / Configuration / Stock Adjustment.
Below are the group of reasons for FBA inventory adjustment provided by Amazon:
Misplaced and Found inventory: Products which are misplaced by the amazon or the products which were misplaced by amazon and found by Amazon.
Damage inventory: Products which are damaged by amazon and then transferred to the unsellable location.
Unrecoverable inventory: Products which are either damaged by amazon or which are lost by the amazon in these cases the seller can claim for reimbursement.
Inbound shipment received adjustments: During receiving the inbound shipment process if there is any issue related to miscount or product not scanned.
Software corrections: Software correction of inventory tracking discrepancies in Amazon.
Transferring ownership: In this case, where Amazon has reimbursed the products which were lost. Now, if it is found later, then Amazon will change ownership for that product in holding an account.
Catalog Management: The two products with separate identifiers are found as the same in our catalogue with Amazon, they will delete one of them and move inventory in another product.
All the groups mentioned above have different code provided by Amazon as shown in the screenshot below. You will be able to locate the reason under Amazon / Configurations / Stock Adjustment configurations / Amazon Reason.
Configurations for Stock Adjustment:
You can configure Amazon Stock Adjustment in Odoo by navigating to Amazon / Configuration / Stock Adjustment Configuration.
Group: Select any one reason from the drop-down menu for which the stock adjustment need to be made in the Amazon
FBA Inventory.
Location: Select the location of your warehouse from the drop-down menu you had configured in Odoo where you want
to record this type of transactions.
Is Send Email?: The system will send email to configured users for any transactions taken place for Stock Adjustment in Amazon FBA Inventory. You can select the Email Template from the drop-down menu or you can create a new template for this type of transactions.
Picking Type: Select the picking type from the drop-down for the location you selected for Stock Adjustment in your Odoo.
Once the Stock Adjustment Configuration is done, we will fetch the stock adjustment report from Amazon. There are two ways to fetch your Amazon stock adjustment in Odoo.
1. Manually through Operations
You can navigate to Amazon / Operations / Stock Adjustment Report.
Once, you request a stock adjustment report from Amazon, it will be visible under the tab FBA. You will also find all the previous created reports.
Now, we need to process the fetched reports from Amazon. Click on any of the listed reports. You will see the button to process the Inventory Adjustments as shown below. You can also see the real-time status of adjustment in Amazon FBA Inventory.
NOTE
The outstanding amounts from/to Amazon for stock adjustments in FBA Inventory will be mentioned in the settlement report provided by Amazon at a certain time interval.
2. Automatically through Scheduler:
You can set the scheduler for Stock Adjustment by navigating to Amazon / Configuration / Sellers / FBA Scheduler
