Queue

The whole new way to import thousands of Products, Orders & Customers in a disciplined way and process it in Odoo in batch.

With the Queue, you are actually processing the data in a batch where the load on system resources will be less compared to processing the data in a single slot. Import and process of data are the same but when it is configured for auto-process, it will follow this system. In each queue, there will be 125 products when the cron job starts. While for Sales Order, there will be 50 orders per queue.

It will match the data from the previous queue and based on that the next queue is prepared which will ensure accurate data processing from Shopify to Odoo. Let’s take one example.

Navigate to Shopify / Data Queues and you will find multiple processes. Click on any of them, and you will come across all the queues created for that particular process, for eg., Shipped Order.

When the Sales Order which is Shipped is imported from Shopify to Odoo, it will be collected in a single queue which will be in Draft stage. Now, either you can manually process the queue or through automatic cron jobs.

Now click on any one of queues and you can see the status of all Sales Orders. It can be in the Draft, Failed, Cancelled or in the Done stage. Further, when you navigate to Queue Lines, you can see each Sales Order data with its unique order ID.

You can process the whole queue manually if you wish. Just click on Process Queue Manually button given on the top.

WARNING

If you Force Done the queue, the data in the queue will be forced done and it cannot be processed further anymore. The state of the queue lines hence will be canceled. You may need to repeat the whole process from the start.

If there is any kind of mismatch or issues found while processing the queue, you can find the details for the same in the Log Lines tab as shown below.

When the queue is successfully processed, you can be able to see the processed ribbon and the status of all the records in the queue are in the Done stage now.

Finally, you can see that the status of a particular queue is now completed.
